Terms of Service
Effective: September 22, 2026 · Last updated: September 22, 2026
1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of FixLinkr, available at www.fixlinkr.com. By accessing or using FixLinkr, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
FixLinkr is currently operated by its founder, Mike Maiga, while the operating entity Linkr Holdings LLC is being formed in New York.
Once Linkr Holdings LLC is officially formed, these Terms will be updated to reflect the entity as the operator.
2. Eligibility and Account Responsibilities
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account on FixLinkr. By creating an account, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it up to date.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@fixlinkr.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. FixLinkr's Marketplace Role
FixLinkr is a marketplace platform that helps drivers discover mechanics and repair shops, compare services and pricing, and book appointments online.
FixLinkr does not diagnose vehicles, perform repairs, employ the listed mechanics, or guarantee the quality or outcome of services. Repair services are provided by independent shops or service providers. Any agreement for repair work is between you and the shop you choose.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws, including New York State law.
4. Mechanic and Repair Shop Responsibilities
If you register as a mechanic or repair shop, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information about your business, services, and pricing
- Perform services in a professional, workmanlike manner consistent with industry standards
- Honor the prices and pricing types you publish on FixLinkr (fixed, starting at, or diagnostic fee)
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations governing automotive repair in your jurisdiction
- Communicate promptly with customers about their bookings
- Not engage in misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive practices
5. Shop Licensing and Registration
By listing your shop on FixLinkr, you represent that you hold any licenses, registrations, or certifications required by applicable law to operate your business and perform the services you list. This includes, where applicable, New York State DMV repair shop registration.
FixLinkr does not verify every claim made by shops. You are responsible for the accuracy of your representations.
6. Service Listings and Pricing
Mechanics and repair shops must publish services with one of the following pricing types:
- Fixed Price — a set price for the service as described
- Starting Price — a minimum price that may increase based on vehicle configuration or parts needed
- Diagnostic Fee — a fee to inspect and diagnose the issue
- Estimate Required — a written estimate is provided after inspection
Shops must not display misleading prices. If a listed price cannot be honored, the shop must communicate this to the customer before performing work.
7. Estimates and Authorization for Additional Work
Shops listed on FixLinkr are required to comply with New York State regulations governing automotive repairs, including obtaining customer authorization before performing work and not exceeding the written estimate without customer consent.
If additional work is discovered during a repair, the shop must request the customer's approval before proceeding. FixLinkr provides tools to facilitate this approval process, but the responsibility for compliance rests with the shop.
8. Bookings, Cancellations, and No-Shows
Bookings made through FixLinkr are requests to the shop. Confirmation of a booking creates an agreement between the customer and the shop. FixLinkr is not a party to that agreement.
Cancellation policies are set by individual shops. Customers should contact the shop directly for cancellations or rescheduling. Repeated no-shows may result in account restrictions.
9. Payments, Deposits, and Refunds
FixLinkr does not currently process payments. Payments for repair services are made directly between customers and shops. Deposits, refunds, and payment disputes are the responsibility of the shop and the customer.
If we introduce in-platform payments in the future, we will publish additional terms governing those transactions.
10. Reviews and User-Generated Content
FixLinkr allows customers to leave reviews after a completed service. By submitting a review, you agree that:
- Your review reflects your honest experience
- You will not post defamatory, obscene, or unlawful content
- FixLinkr may remove reviews that violate these Terms
You grant FixLinkr a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display your reviews and any content you submit on the platform.
11. Prohibited Activity
You agree not to:
- Use FixLinkr for any unlawful purpose
- Impersonate another person or business
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Scrape, harvest, or misuse user data
- Interfere with the security or operation of the platform
- Attempt to circumvent fees, verification, or access controls
- Post spam, malware, or harmful content
12. Disputes Between Customers and Shops
FixLinkr is not a party to agreements between customers and shops. Disputes regarding pricing, quality of work, timeliness, or damage are between the customer and the shop.
We encourage both parties to resolve issues directly. If you believe a shop has violated these Terms or posted misleading information, you may report it to us at support@fixlinkr.com and we will review.
13. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to FixLinkr if you violate these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if we determine that your continued access poses a risk to the platform or other users. You may close your account at any time.
14. Intellectual Property
The FixLinkr name, logo, and platform design are owned by FixLinkr and may not be used without permission. Content you submit (such as shop descriptions, photos, and reviews) remains yours, but you grant us a license to display it on the platform.
15. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
FixLinkr is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FixLinkr and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including any services performed by independent shops.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable law.
16. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify users by email or through the platform. Your continued use of FixLinkr after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
