Common questions
Is FixLinkr really free for shops?
Yes. During our launch period, FixLinkr charges no listing fee and no booking commission. Shops receive payment directly from their customers. We may offer optional paid features in the future, but the basic listing will remain free to start.
Do you take a cut of every job?
No. FixLinkr does not currently process payments, and we do not take any commission from bookings. Customers pay your shop directly.
Who owns the customer relationship?
You do. The customer books with you, contacts you through your listed info, and pays you directly. FixLinkr is a discovery and booking platform — the relationship is between you and your customer.
How do TLC driver discounts work?
You can opt in from your shop profile. If you enable it, your shop shows a 🚕 TLC Discount badge in search results, appears in our TLC-only filter, and is featured on our homepage TLC section. You set the discount terms.
What does 'verified' mean on FixLinkr?
We're building out our verification program. Currently, 'Business Verified' means the shop has confirmed their business information with us. We're working toward full NY DMV registration and insurance verification for all NYC shops. We only claim what we can verify.
Can I edit my shop or services later?
Yes, everything is editable anytime. Add or remove services, update prices, change your hours, or edit your description from your dashboard.
